Maos wiederrufen den Streik 31.12. und 1.1.

Hallo zusamnmen!
Wie ich soeben in der Kantipur online gelesen habe, ist der Streik, der fuer den 31.12. und 1.1. ausgerufen wurde, ausgesetzt!

Maoists withdraw bandh

KATHMANDU, Dec 23 - Maoists on Friday decided to withdraw their previously called general strikes for December 31 and January 1.
Maoist central leader Dev Gurung said: "As the government assured us that it will consult with us in all political appointments, we decided to withdraw our strike."
He also said the government has assured the Maoists that it won't restore police posts and won't make any political appointments until the Maoists joined the interim government. He, however couldn't clearly say whether or not the government will withdraw the recently nominated names for ambassadors.
